ECHO River Trips
ECHO River Trips has provided wilderness whitewater trips for friends and families since 1972. On a trip with ECHO, you will experience one of the two finest rivers in the American West: the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho or the Rogue River in Oregon.
The Middle Fork of the Salmon River is America's finest alpine whitewater river, featuring 75-100 miles of crystal clear water, exciting rapids, natural hot springs, world class fly-fishing and Native American pictographs. Trips last 4-6 days, June-early September.
Rogue River rafting is perfect for families and first-time rafters. The water is warm, the rapids are challenging, and the wildlife is abundant. You could spot deer, river otters, bald eagles, osprey, and black bears in Oregon. Trips last 3-5 days, late May-September.
Both the Middle Fork and the Rogue have Federal protection under "The Wild and Scenic Rivers Act". Since 1968, development has been strictly limited and monitored. You will therefore be able to absorb these natural environments free from the distractions of modern life.
Our legendary adventures are perfect for friends and families as a way to reconnect in a natural environment. Teens and parents can work together to navigate rapids in an inflatable kayak, adults can relax and enjoy their children while our guides prepare meals and best of all, a river trip creates memories that children will forever cherish.
We strive to run the highest quality trips possible. Our all-inclusive adventures include rafting and camping gear, delicious and healthy meals and safe navigation provided by our professional and entertaining river guides. We consider river trips to be social events as much as outdoors adventures, and you will be treated as a guest in our homes.
